Developing a skills-driven opportunity marketplace
ANZ embraced an agile organisational structure and were looking to change the ‘ecosystem’ to enable internal mobility and visibility of skills across the business. They were implementing SAP SuccessFactors as the new HRIS solution. Given the Bank’s aspirations to embrace a ‘skills driven workforce’ approach it was critical to understand how technology could be a key enabler.
TQ Scope
TQ were engaged to align stakeholders on core problems to solve, develop requirements for an ‘Opportunity Marketplace’, perform a fit gap analysis and make vendor recommendation (including SAP SuccessFactors) for a suitable Marketplace technology partner.
Outcomes
Through collaborative sessions and ‘art-of-the-possible’ workshops, 8 problems were identified to extend the original ‘internal mobility’ focus into a ‘total talent’ lens. A comprehensive market scan and analysis was undertaken of vendors that could meet the Bank’s requirements. We built a comprehensive business case for capital allocation and funding approval, including full cost/benefit analysis. A detailed vendor analysis was completed focusing on a feature/benefit comparison, along with a fit gap analysis of SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace to cater to future talent strategy objectives. We also recommended the introduction of an Intelligence (AI) and Experience layer within ANZ’s tech stack to dramatically enhance user experience and create deep skills visibility and career pathways to augment SAP SuccessFactors.
What the client says
I just want to reach out to say a huge thank you for all of your work and support with Opportunity Marketplace. We really couldn’t have got to this point without you.
