An inspiring Global Talent Tech strategy and business case

Philips is a global leader in the field of innovation across technology and health sciences, with over 70,000 employees across 100 countries. As part of a broader TA Technology transformation, the TA function wanted to explore how technology could make them ‘fit for the future’ of hiring.

TQ Scope

We partnered with Philips' Global project team to support the review of vendor solutions and develop an appropriate Talent Technology option set and strategy to meet the needs of the business, heading into the future. TQ had to develop a Technology Roadmap that would address the core challenge areas and build a business case to support any endorsed direction.

Outcomes

TQ developed a global ‘fit for future’ roadmap for Talent Technology that included 4 options (Do nothing, Optimise and Enhance, Future Proofing and a Visionary State). A preferred option to ‘future proof’ the TA function through the augmentation of their enterprise HR tech with a AI powered CRM layer on top of their HRIS to deliver enhanced experience, automation, integration and governance, was presented to the business. All recommendations and core strategic directions were overwhelmingly accepted by the executive. A financial business case for investment, which detailed both hard and soft value drivers and cost savings, was developed to support the investment direction.
