As a people’s person and an enthusiastic creator I naturally moved into the human resources/recruiting space at the very beginning of my career. I am fascinated by helping talented people to become better in what they do best.
With over 15 years of corporate in-house recruiting experience across different industries and countries in Europe and now in Australia, I still get a thrill from extending an offer and having it accepted. Over the years I learnt how crucial it is to understand the ‘job acceptance criteria’ of the targeted finalist and knowing how to sell and build a Talent Brand. By including employees, leaders, etc. in the recruiting efforts, everyone becomes a recruiter and a brand ambassador. I get excited about people, technology and building powerful networks.
With recruiting moving more and more toward a digital hiring model I believe that the recruiters primary role will be much different and the critical competency will be influencing or selling prospects, candidates and hiring managers.

I’m an ‘Early bird’ so get the big tasks of the day accomplished early. I believe that everything you do, you do better with a good night sleep 🙂

It would be Malcolm X as he was one of the greatest and most influential leaders in history.
What might we be surprised to know about you?
I was born in Istanbul, grew up in the german part of Switzerland in a family of six siblings and speak four languages.
