Rabobank is one of the world’s largest rural lenders primarily providing financial and banking services to the Agricultural sector. Rabobank has over 60 branches in Australia and in addition to banking products it has a team of specialist providing a diverse range of business support to farmers including succession planning, sustainable farming systems and commodity price and foreign exchange risk management.
TQSolutions Consulting was engaged by Rabobank in 2016 to conduct a review of recruitment operations in Australia and New Zealand specifically to develop a business case for change, this included a review of in-source vs. outsource options.
The review involved a deep dive of the current state including an extensive number of key stakeholder interviews and listening sessions to identify the key strengths and weaknesses of the current model. Further data points were provided by an extensive voice of customer (new hire, candidate and hiring manager) survey and a broad review of operational performance, cost analysis and benchmarking of the Rabobank brand versus other key competitors in the A&NZ market.
The review concluded with a recommendation to develop an insourced model with a revised and enhanced service catalogue for the business to access. TQSolutions is also working with Rabobank on its recruitment marketing and brand strategy that will support the new recruitment model.
