Bupa is a large, dynamic and high growth business operating across multiple industry segments and geographic regions. It’s Health Insurance business has significant public profile and brand awareness but the company also operates a diverse range of Health and Wellness Services including Aged Care, Care Homes, Health Assessments, Optical, Dental, GP Clinic and a range of other Allied Health Services.
TQSolutions Consulting was engaged to review the A&NZ Recruitment function in 2015 and to recommend a future Talent Acquisition strategy and Operating Model. The review was enterprise wide and comprised a deep dive current state analysis, voice of customer survey diagnostic (candidates, new hires, hiring managers), funding model and cost analysis, brand and employment marketing review as well as a technology and supply chain review. The Recruitment review worked closely with a team overseeing a broader HR Operating Model transformation involving close collaboration with Bupa leadership and other external consultants.
A suite of recommendations and roadmap for transition was developed and TQSolutions worked with Bupa on the business case for change. TQSolutions provided a high level of operational support during the change and implementation phase including a period where it seconded one of its team to act in the TA Leader position. Whilst transitioning to future state Bupa also leveraged TQSolutions Recruitment Service business and augmented the in-house team with additional recruitment capacity and capability.
